Know Your Numbers was founded on a mission to provide small business owners to solutions to their biggest problems. We handle the day to day tasks of an accounting department including bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. We utilize the latest technology to streamline our workflows and provide outsourced accounting to our clients with ease . We are 100% virtual.


Sheryl Simon has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry. Before establishing Know Your Numbers Accounting she has held various corporate accounting positions including Assistant Vice President of Expense/Budgeting and Reporting.

These roles included providing financial statements, expense and budgeting, account reconciliations and tax preparation to multi-billion dollar Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, and Public Companies. These roles also included daily client facing interactions, planning and strategy sessions, and brainstorming/implementation of functional systems to streamline the production of deliverables. While working in these roles,

Sheryl realized her passion was not working for large companies, but rather with eager Small Business Owners who were in need of the support.  Over the years, Sheryl has saved business owners thousands of dollars, by lowering their tax bills, finding hidden money within their budget, recovering missed deductions in tax returns prepared by other preparers, helping increase their revenues and returned countless hours of lost time utilizing technology to streamline operations. Now, these hours are spent on activities they enjoy rather than sifting through mountains of bank statements and files trying to make sense of it all.  Sheryl earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Lincoln University,  and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Maryland University College. Sheryl is also a Certified Public Accountant.




Renee C Aboagye brings more than 10 years in diverse tax and business consulting experience. Renee is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish hands-on and sound business practices that will last a lifetime. Focused on services for small to medium sized businesses, she is committed to delivering tax and financial services that meet each client’s unique objectives.

Renee has gained extensive tax accounting experience through senior tax accountant roles for a variety of companies and CPA firms located on the east coast.

She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Brooklyn College in New York, and her Masters in Taxation from Long Island University C.W. Post thereafter. Renee is committed to delivering tax and financial services that meet each client’s unique objectives.
